Established in 2002, South Side Tattoos & Body Piercing is located 8548 S. Stony Island in Chicago, IL, providing the south side of Chicago with quality art work for over 7 years. Tattooing is our passion and we love to share it with everyone, providing quality, care and professionalism to all of our customers. As graduates of the Art Institute and Columbia College, we are professionally trained artists with over 30 years of experience. When you come to our shop you’re not getting a scratch tattoo artist. Your getting a piece of art.

We are the only licensed tattoo shop on the south side and remain the cleanest, safest tattoo shop in the area. 100% sterilization, single-use needles, inks and tubes, we have your best interests at heart.

We are trained in blood borne pathogen prevention and only use medical grade equipment and infectious control products, promoting a sterile, safe environment.

We keep the south side from having to travel north for tattoos and body piercing. We offer semi-private rooms (private rooms are available upon request) and walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are available with a 24 hour notice and 25% deposit. You must be 18 and older to receive a tattoo. You must be 18 or older to receive a piercing unless accompanied by a legal guardian with proof of legal guardianship. IDs are required from all parties receiving tattoos, body piercing or consenting to a body piercing.

South Side Tattoos & Body Piercing is very affordable and has over a thousand designs to choose from. Our artists are very creative and will help you through the various designs that will suit you best. Portraits, Cover-ups, Touch-ups and Custom Designs are available. Our shop has been seen in Ink Magazine, Pain Magazine, Indigo News Paper, and on ABC News for our charitable contributions to Sacred Heart Transformation. Giving back and changing lives is what we all love to do. That, and tattoo the hell out of people.
